Domein Denis Mortet

Domaine Denis Mortet is a Burgundy producer based in Gevrey-Chambertin, one of the Côte d'Or's most celebrated wine villages. The estate produces exclusively Pinot Noir wines from this renowned appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits subregion.

Gevrey-Chambertin is known for producing some of Burgundy's most structured and age-worthy Pinot Noir wines. The village sits on limestone-rich soils with varying elevations and exposures, creating distinct terroir expressions. Wines from this appellation typically display deep color, concentrated fruit flavors, and firm tannins that soften with cellar aging, often showing earthy minerality alongside red and dark berry characteristics.

The domaine's current range includes their "Mes Cinq Terroirs" bottling, which blends fruit from five different vineyard parcels within Gevrey-Chambertin, and wines from the premier cru vineyard Lavaux Saint-Jacques.
