Chateau Capion is a prestigious wine producer located in the Languedoc region in the south of France. This beautiful estate, with its magnificent chateau and surrounding vineyards, has a history that dates back to the 12th century. It has been owned and operated by the d'Arche family since 1973, who have dedicated themselves to producing exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region.

The estate is situated in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac appellation, known for its high-quality wines. The combination of the Mediterranean climate, with its hot and dry summers, and the cool winds from the nearby Cevennes mountains, creates the perfect conditions for grape growing. The vineyards of Chateau Capion are located on a plateau at an altitude of 200-300 meters, ensuring optimal sun exposure and good drainage for the vines.

The estate is best known for its red wines, which are made from a blend of traditional grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre. These grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected to ensure only the best fruit is used in the winemaking process. The result is a range of wines that are rich, complex, and full of character. The flagship wine of Chateau Capion is the "Le Colombier," a blend of Syrah and Grenache that has received numerous accolades and awards for its exceptional quality.

Il Languedoc-Roussillon si estende attraverso il sud della Francia dal confine spagnolo al delta del Rodano, formando la regione vinicola più grande del paese.
