Dogajolo Rosso is one of the most innovative wines of the Carpineto company, produced in the hailed or hamlet of Dudda, in the Florentine municipality of Greve in Chianti. It is obtained mainly from Sangiovese grapes, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon and other red berried varieties, for a fragrant and deep wine, in which the youth of the fruit, the maturity of the wood and an elegant softness coexist.
It reveals itself to the sight of an intense ruby red colour. Pleasant vinous and fruity sensations emerge on the nose, in which cherry stands out, alternating with spicy nuances reminiscent of vanilla and coffee. On the palate it is a full, soft and structured wine.
This is a popular value buy made with 70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. The Carpineto 2020 Dogajolo seeks to bring out the sunshine and friendly nature of Tuscany. The wine is approachable and immediate with easy layers of dried cherry, earth and Mediterranean herbs.
