The winery was established in 2017 by the renowned Moët Hennessy-Louis Vuitton (LVMH) group, in partnership with the Gallardo family, who have a long history in the Tequila Valley. Volcan De Mi Tierra produces a range of wines, including a red blend and a white blend, both made from a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Petit Verdot for the red, and Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Viognier for the white. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected to ensure only the best fruit is used in the winemaking process.

The winery also has a strong commitment to sustainability and is dedicated to preserving the natural resources of the Tequila Valley. They use eco-friendly farming practices and have implemented a rainwater harvesting system to reduce their water consumption.
