Firriato is a renowned wine producer located in the heart of Sicily, a region known for its rich history, beautiful landscapes, and exceptional wines. Founded in 1985 by Salvatore and Vinzia Di Gaetano, Firriato has become one of the most prestigious and awarded wineries in Italy.

The winery covers over 300 hectares of land, spread across three different estates: Baglio Sorìa in Trapani, Cavanera Etnea in Catania, and Borgo Guarini in Siracusa. Each estate has its own unique microclimate and terroir, allowing Firriato to produce a diverse range of wines that showcase the true essence of Sicily.

Firriato is dedicated to sustainable and environmentally friendly winemaking practices, using organic and biodynamic methods to cultivate their vineyards. This commitment to quality and sustainability has earned Firriato several certifications, including the prestigious Demeter certification for biodynamic agriculture.

The winery produces a wide range of wines, including red, white, and rosé, as well as sparkling and dessert wines. However, their flagship wines are undoubtedly the Nero d'Avola and Perricone, both native Sicilian grape varieties that have been carefully selected and cultivated by Firriato.

Firriato's wines have received numerous awards and accolades from top wine critics and publications, including a top 10 ranking for their Nero d'Avola in Wine Spectator's "Top 100 Wines of the World" list. Their wines are known for their complexity, depth, and balance, reflecting the unique terroir and climate of Sicily.
