Château Miraval is located in the Provence village of Correns, the first 100% organic village in France. All of the crops, including grapes, are grown organically in this wild and picturesque town. Tucked away in its own private valley, the Château is surrounded by ancient woodlands and olive groves. In 2012, owners Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie partnered with the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel fame, who oversee wine production at the estate. Their continued dedication to improving quality in both the vineyards and the cellar, have seen the wines go from strength to strength, with Château Miraval today considered one of the great names of Provence.

La Provenza è una regione del sud-est della Francia rinomata per la produzione di vini rosati. La storia della viticoltura in Provenza risale all'antichità, quando i Greci e i Romani introdussero la viticoltura nella regione. Lo stile di produzione della Provenza è fortemente influenzato dal clima mediterraneo, con estati calde e inverni miti. I vini prodotti in Provenza sono tipicamente leggeri e rinfrescanti, con un colore rosa pallido e delicati aromi di frutti rossi e fiori. I vitigni più comuni utilizzati in Provenza sono Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah e Mourvèdre. Oltre al rosé, la Provenza produce anche vini rossi e bianchi, nonché vini fortificati come il Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise. Nel complesso, la Provenza è una regione nota per i suoi vini di alta qualità, perfetti da gustare nelle calde giornate estive.
