Gaelic for dawn, Moch is a crisp, assertive and bright Caol Ila. A smoky, single malt from a remote distillery on Scotland’s most famous Whisky Island Islay. Unreduced, sweet and salty with a balancing acidity, Caol Ila’s trademark smoky-antiseptic character is here. Best enjoyed over ice or with a bit of water. Or serve it neat. The first single malt from Caol Ila to be selected entirely on the basis of its taste, rather than age, cask wood, strength or finish. Makes the perfect gift for those looking to experience the magic world of peaty whiskies. Pale gold colour. Light and smooth body. Like wet, salty sand after the tide has receded, a nose with antiseptic and lingering smoke notes. Sweet and salty palate with a balancing acidity and characteristic anti-septic character. Short & drying finish with a little bitterness. Lingering smoky aftertaste.

Smoky Moch

Ingredients:
- 60 ml Caol Ila Moch
- 30 ml fresh lemon juice
- 15 ml honey syrup
- 1 dash of orange bitters
- 1 sprig of rosemary

Instructions:
1. In a shaker, combine Caol Ila Moch, fresh lemon juice, honey syrup, and orange bitters.
2. Add ice and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
3. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
4. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and enjoy the smoky and sweet flavors of this cocktail.
