The name La Rivetta has become a symbol of an excellent terroir. La Rivetta 120 stands for a special synergy of soil, microclimate, and tradition, enhanced by 120 days of maturation on the lees. This is reflected in a brilliant yellow colour with a slight greenish tinge and a fine, delicate perlage. The aroma is reminiscent of Granny Smith apples, wisteria, and acacia blossom. The flavour is fresh and fragrant, with a yellow-fruity aroma. The result of extended ageing is a complex, creamy sparkling wine.

Villa Sandi is a renowned wine producer located in the heart of the Veneto region in Italy. The winery has a rich history dating back to the 17th century when it was founded by the Moretti Polegato family. The family has been producing high-quality wines for generations, and their passion for winemaking is evident in every bottle they produce.

Villa Sandi is known for its Prosecco, which is made using the Glera grape variety. The winery produces a range of Prosecco wines, including the popular Prosecco DOCG, which is made using grapes from the Valdobbiadene region. The wine has a delicate aroma of apple and pear, with a crisp and refreshing taste that is perfect for any occasion.

In addition to Prosecco, Villa Sandi also produces a range of still wines, including Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon. These wines are made using grapes from the Veneto region and are known for their rich and complex flavours.

The winery uses traditional winemaking techniques to produce its wines, including hand-harvesting and gentle pressing of the grapes. The wines are then aged in oak barrels to enhance their flavor and complexity.

Villa Sandi is committed to sustainable winemaking practices and has implemented a range of initiatives to reduce its environmental impact. The winery uses solar panels to generate electricity, recycles its wastewater, and has implemented a range of measures to reduce its carbon footprint.

Overall, Villa Sandi is a world-class winery that produces some of the finest wines in Italy. With a rich history, a commitment to quality, and a focus on sustainability, it is no wonder that their wines are highly sought after by wine lovers around the world.

Prosecco is a sparkling wine that hails from the Veneto region of Italy. It is made primarily from the Glera grape, although other grape varieties such as Verdiso, Bianchetta Trevigiana, Perera, and Glera Lunga may also be used. Prosecco is known for its light, refreshing character and its delicate bubbles, which make it a popular choice for celebrations and special occasions.

The history of Prosecco dates back to Roman times, when the area around the town of Prosecco was known for its wine production. However, it was not until the 19th century that Prosecco began to gain popularity outside of Italy. In the early 20th century, Prosecco was produced using the Charmat method, which involves fermenting the wine in large tanks before bottling. This method allowed for the production of large quantities of Prosecco at a lower cost, and helped to make the wine more accessible to a wider audience.

Today, Prosecco is produced using both the Charmat method and the traditional method, which involves fermenting the wine in the bottle. Prosecco DOC and Prosecco Superiore DOCG are the two main appellations for Prosecco, with the latter being considered the higher quality of the two. Prosecco Superiore DOCG is produced in the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, and is known for its complex, nuanced flavors and aromas.

Prosecco is a versatile wine that can be enjoyed on its own or paired with a variety of foods. It is particularly well-suited to light, fresh dishes such as seafood, salads, and antipasti. Prosecco is also a popular ingredient in cocktails, and is often used to make Bellinis and other sparkling wine cocktails.

Overall, Prosecco is a wine that is beloved for its light, refreshing character and its versatility. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a glass with friends, Prosecco is sure to delight.
