Medium to full-bodied layered and incisive, with lovely cut and concentration, it derives as usual from exclusively domaine holdings in several superior lieux-dits, including Narvaux, En la Barre, Limozin and Clos du Cromin.

Domaine Henri Boillot is a renowned wine producer located in the prestigious region of Meursault, in the heart of Burgundy, France. With a rich history dating back several generations, this esteemed domaine has established itself as a benchmark for excellence in winemaking.

The story of Domaine Henri Boillot begins in the late 19th century when Henri's great-grandfather, Etienne Boillot, first planted vineyards in the village of Meursault. Since then, the family has passed down their winemaking knowledge and expertise from one generation to the next, ensuring the continuity of their exceptional wines.

The style of production at Domaine Henri Boillot is deeply rooted in tradition, with a strong emphasis on terroir expression and minimal intervention in the winemaking process. The domaine owns and cultivates vineyards in some of the most prestigious appellations of Burgundy, including Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, and Volnay, among others.

In the vineyards, meticulous care is taken to ensure the health and vitality of the vines. Sustainable farming practices are employed, with a focus on organic and biodynamic principles. Once in the winery, the grapes are gently pressed, and the juice is transferred to oak barrels for fermentation. The use of oak is judicious, with a combination of new and used barrels employed to add complexity and structure to the wines without overpowering their delicate nuances.

The wines of Domaine Henri Boillot are known for their elegance, finesse, and purity. The white wines, predominantly made from Chardonnay, exhibit a beautiful balance of fruit, acidity, and minerality. They are characterized by their vibrant citrus and stone fruit flavors, complemented by subtle notes of toasted nuts and a touch of oak.

The red wines, primarily crafted from Pinot Noir, showcase the domaine's commitment to producing wines of exceptional depth and complexity. They display a seductive bouquet of red berries, floral notes, and earthy undertones. On the palate, they are silky and refined, with velvety t

Le chardonnay est le premier cépage des vins blancs de Bourgogne, avec 48 % de l'encépagement et 68 % de la production. Le chardonnay apprécie le sol marneux de la Bourgogne, qui lui confère de délicats arômes floraux, fruités et minéraux, ainsi que des saveurs corsées. L'aligoté est le deuxième cépage blanc, avec 6 % de la production. {En savoir plus sur l'ancien cépage aligoté en Bourgogne.}
