From superyachts to private cellars

Onshore Cellars was founded in 2015 by Ed and Jess Dunnett, a former Second Officer and Chief Stewardess who met working on a 70m motor yacht. Our shop has stood in Antibes Old Town since 2017, and our team supplies yachts from 40 to 110 metres through the Mediterranean and Caribbean seasons.

Why does that matter to a collector? Because yacht provisioning is wine supply judged by the harshest standard there is: exact bottles, exact vintages, no substitutions, delivered on time in front of the most demanding audience in the world. A collector gets the same discipline, nothing less.

Sourcing rare and allocated wines

We hold more than 1,500 wines, champagnes and spirits in stock, and unlike almost every fine wine supplier in our world, our full list is browsable with public prices. No emailing for a quote, no gatekeeping.

Beyond the list sits our allocation network: Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Pétrus, Krug Clos d'Ambonnay, Screaming Eagle, cult California, top Burgundy and first-growth Bordeaux. If a bottle exists on the market, we can usually find it. And if we can't, we tell you within hours, not after a week of silence. Professional storage, €24 a case a year

Heat is the quiet killer of fine wine. Our climate-controlled storage near Antibes holds your wine at constant cellar conditions, fully documented, with insurance cover available up to €100,000, for €24 per case per year (ex VAT). Bottles come out whenever you want them: delivered to your home, your villa, or straight to the table.

Cellar advice without the theatre

Our general manager Peter Bedding holds the WSET Diploma, and our team has curated cellars for yacht owners for a decade. We start with how you actually drink, not with a list of famous labels. A good first cellar balances wines for tonight, wines that reward five years' patience, and a few bottles that will genuinely astonish you at ten. We'll tell you honestly which is which. Starting from zero? Our cellar setup service plans, stocks and manages the whole thing.

We don't sell wine as an investment product. Wine is for drinking; if your cellar appreciates along the way, enjoy the bonus.

¿Pueden conseguir vinos raros y asignados?

Sí. Suministramos regularmente Pétrus, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Krug Clos d'Ambonnay, Screaming Eagle y otros vinos de asignación exclusiva a yates y clientes privados. Si una botella existe en el mercado, normalmente podemos encontrarla, y si no podemos, le lo comunicamos rápidamente en lugar de dejarle esperando.

¿Ofrecen almacenamiento profesional de vino?

Sí. Nuestro almacenamiento climatizado cerca de Antibes cuesta 24 € por caja al año (IVA no incluido), con cobertura de seguros disponible hasta 100 000 €. Sus vinos se almacenan en condiciones profesionales con registros de inventario completos, y pueden entregarse a usted o a su bodega cuando lo desee.

¿Hacen entregas en toda Europa?

Sí. Entrega el mismo día en la Côte d'Azur (Antibes, Cannes, Niza, Mónaco, Saint-Tropez), al día siguiente en toda Francia, y en pocos días en el resto de la UE. Gestionamos correctamente la logística sensible a la temperatura, su vino viaja de la misma manera que fue almacenado.

¿Pueden ayudarme a comenzar una colección de vino desde cero?

Por supuesto, es uno de nuestros proyectos favoritos. Nuestro director general Peter Bedding es titular del Diploma WSET y nuestro equipo ha curado bodegas para propietarios de yates durante una década. Comenzamos con cómo bebe realmente, y luego construimos una primera colección alrededor de vinos que merecerán la pena conservar, no solo marcas famosas.

¿Compran colecciones de vino?

Sí. Si está reduciendo una bodega o liquidando una herencia, compramos colecciones bien almacenadas. La procedencia y el historial de almacenamiento determinan el precio que podemos ofrecer. ¿Cómo sé que la procedencia de sus vinos es genuina?

Compramos directamente a productores y negociantes establecidos, y nuestro propio almacenamiento es climatizado y documentado. Para botellas antiguas o raras, verificamos niveles de llenado, etiquetas, cápsulas e historial de almacenamiento antes de ofrecerlas. La procedencia es exactamente por qué los propietarios de yates confían en nosotros con el vino de sus invitados, el mismo estándar se aplica a su bodega.
