Dominio Do Bibei

Dominio do Bibei is a winery based in Ribeira, the southernmost denomination within Galicia's wine region. The producer focuses on white wine production, drawing from vineyards in one of Spain's most distinctive Atlantic-influenced wine territories.

Ribeira is characterized by steep, slate-based hillsides and a maritime climate that creates conditions ideal for aromatic white wines. The region's cool temperatures and high rainfall create wines with pronounced acidity and mineral character. Producers here typically work with indigenous Galician varieties that thrive in these challenging conditions, where the grapes develop complexity despite (or because of) the struggle to ripen.

The current range includes Lapola, a white wine made from a blend of Albariño and Godello. This combination reflects the region's traditional approach—Albariño contributes salinity and citrus notes while Godello brings structure and stone fruit character. The blend showcases the complementary qualities of Ribeira's two most important white grape varieties.
