A wonderfully balanced expression from the core Caol Ila range, this 18 year old is malty and thick with notes of Caol Ila smoke and phenols, a lovely Islay single malt without extreme levels of peat. Aromatic nose, darkness. Herbal, vegetal. Grassy, creamy malt. Big palate, refined sweetness, leafy. Well integrated oak, smoke, oily, peat. Barley. Long finish, herbal notes, gentle smoke, soft peat. Oily wood.

Ingredients:
- 60 ml Caol Ila 18 yrs
- 30 ml fresh grapefruit juice
- 15 ml honey syrup
- 2 dashes of orange bitters
- Grapefruit twist for garnish

Instructions:
1. In a shaker, combine Caol Ila 18 yrs, fresh grapefruit juice, honey syrup, and orange bitters.
2. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
3. Strain the mixture into a chilled glass filled with ice.
4. Garnish with a grapefruit twist and serve immediately.
