Sassicaia Sour

Ingredients:

Ingredients:
- 60 ml Tenuta San Guido Grappa da Vinacce di Sassicaia
- 30 ml fresh lemon juice
- 15 ml simple syrup
- 1 egg white
- 3 dashes of Angostura bitters

Instructions:
1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the Tenuta San Guido Grappa da Vinacce di Sassicaia, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white.
2. Dry shake (without ice) vigorously for 10-15 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
3. Add ice to the shaker and shake again for another 10-15 seconds.
4. Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.
5. Garnish with 3 dashes of Angostura bitters on top of the foam.
6. Serve and enjoy the unique and complex flavors.

In the 1920s Marchese Mario della Rocchetta dreamt of creating a ‘thoroughbred wine’ and for him, like for the aristocracy of the time, the ideal was Bordeaux. No one had ever dared to produce a Bordeaux blend on Italian soil before, and certainly not in an unknown area as far as viticulture was concerned. The innovative decision to do so was partly due to the similarity Mario Incise noted between the soils in Bolgheri and that of Graves in Bordeaux.
