Enticing aromas of fresh blueberries, blackberries, and lilacs envelop the senses, while delicate notes of baking spice and vanilla integrate seamlessly. Ripe blue fruit op the palate complements the precise balance of structure, layered acidity, and long, powerful finish.
The 2020 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is medium ruby in colour and delicately scented of cranberries, blackberries, crushed stone, tea leaves and bitters. The light-bodied palate features bright, earth-laced fruits, a silky texture, and an uplifted, spicy finish.
This richly tight, layered, and intense coastal wine combines grapes from several amazing sites, including Kanzler, Gap's Crown and Jenkins. Savoury freshness defines it, with mineral, forest, and tea at the forefront of the structured palate and accents of nutmeg and cardamom lingering on the finish.
Coming about 30% to 40% from Gap's Crown this vintage, the 2018 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast has very pretty, sweet berry fruits -strawberries, raspberries, rhubarb- with accents of tea leaves, dried flowers, and fragrant earth. The medium-bodied palate has a great dichotomy of classic Pinot Noir fruit and amaro-like bitterness, juicy, soft, and sexy with a long, spicy finish. Lovely!

Founded in 1997 by Dan Kosta, Michael Browne and Chris Costello, the legendary Kosta Browne Winery produces some of the most sought-after Pinot Noir wines in California. The estate sources its grapes from the most celebrated terroirs of three prestigious appellations – the Sonoma Coast, Russian River Valley and Santa Lucia Highlands. In 2016, the company acquired the famed Cerise Vineyard on the steep and wild hills of Mendocino County. The Kosta Browne collection is a vast array of Pinot Noir, ranging from appellation wines that blend the best of these terroirs to single-vineyard masterpieces from family vineyards and the estate's own parcels.
