The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Houillères opens in the glass with attractive aromas of pear, lemon pith, freshly baked bread and hazelnuts. Medium-bodied, bright and precise, with a pretty core of fruit and a chalky finish, it's a fine-boned, elegant wine that's built to age with grace.
Bursting with aromas of pear, almond paste, white flowers and orange oil, the 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Houillères is medium to full-bodied, satiny and open, with a bright core of fruit, succulent acids and a giving, gently saline profile. This is another success.

Pinot Noir originated in Burgundy and these vines cover 34% of the region, accounting for 29% of overall wine production. Gamay is a red grape also grown in Burgundy, but only makes up 10% of the vines.

Chardonnay appreciates Burgundy’s marl soil, which gives it delicate floral, fruit, and mineral aromas and full-bodied flavours.
