The 2016 Flor de Vetus, the entry-level red, which shows good freshness, varietal character and integrated oak. The palate is medium-bodied, with some creamy flavours and a soft texture. A crowd-pleaser.
The young and fruit-driven 2015 Flor de Vetus is pure Tinta de Toro from a warm and early harvest matured in 50/50 French and American oak barrels for nine months. It has a commercial, approachable profile, with notes of plums and sweet spices, and a juicy palate with good freshness.
