One of the oldest and prestigious Burgundy domaines, Maison Régnard was established in 1860 by Zéphir Régnard, and is one of the only Chablis wineries that has all its cellars in the historic centre of the town. Created in 1992, Le Grand Régnard is a special cuvée designed to reflect the truest expression of the Maison Régnard style each vintage. Similar to the Champagne model, Le Grand Régnard is a blend of 30-year-old vines, with fruit taken from the best parcels of Chablis. The wine is bottled in a traditional 17th century bottle to reflect those used by the ancestors of the family, with a distinctive and unique bulbous shape.
