Casa Dragones is a premium tequila producer based in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico. The company was founded in 2008 by Bertha González Nieves and Bob Pittman, and has since become known for its high-quality, small-batch tequilas.

The history of Casa Dragones dates back to the 18th century, when the town of Tequila was first established as a center for agave cultivation and tequila production. Over the years, the region has become known for its unique terroir, which is characterized by volcanic soil, high altitude, and a dry climate. These factors contribute to the distinctive flavor profile of Casa Dragones tequilas, which are known for their smoothness, complexity, and balance.

Casa Dragones produces two main types of tequila: Blanco and Joven. Blanco tequila is unaged and has a clear, transparent color. It is made from 100% blue Weber agave, which is harvested by hand and cooked in traditional brick ovens. The cooked agave is then crushed and fermented using natural yeasts, before being distilled twice in copper pot stills. The resulting tequila is crisp, clean, and refreshing, with notes of citrus, herbs, and pepper.

Joven tequila, on the other hand, is a blend of Blanco and extra-aged tequilas, which are aged in oak barrels for up to five years. This aging process gives the tequila a rich, complex flavor, with notes of vanilla, caramel, and spice. Joven tequila is also known for its smoothness and balance, making it a popular choice for sipping and mixing in cocktails.

In addition to its tequilas, Casa Dragones also produces a limited-edition tequila called Casa Dragones Barrel Blend. This tequila is a blend of Blanco and Joven tequilas, which are aged in new American oak barrels for up to five years. The resulting tequila is rich, complex, and full-bodied, with notes of chocolate, coffee, and oak.

Overall, Casa Dragones is a premium tequila producer that is known for its high-quality, small-batch tequilas. The company's tequilas are made using traditional methods and the finest ingredients, resulting in a unique flavor profile that is both smooth and complex. Whether you are a tequila connoisseur or a casual drinker, Casa Dragones tequilas are sure to impress.
