Contini winery is one of the most important experiences of the Sardinian wine scene. For more than a century, through the work of several generations, works to enhance the most important vines on the island. The hundred hectares of the estate are around Oristano, within the areas of the Sinis peninsula, in the Tirso valley and on the hills of Monte Arci. In addition to a historic making of Vernaccia, Contini also produces excellent brands of Vermentino and Cannonau. Pariglia is a pure Vermentino produced with grapes from the vineyards of Terre d'Ossidiana and Monte Arci at an altitude of about 100 meters above sea level, on volcanic soils, generated by the dissolution of ancient rocks. The best bunches are softly pressed, and the flower must ferment in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats. Before bottling, the wine is aged for some months in steel tanks. The colour is bright yellow and light. The aroma has scents of citrus peel, orange blossom, hawthorn, yellow pulp fruit and iodine hints. The flavour is pleasantly fruity, aromatic, clear and fresh, with a harmonious finish.
