The single-vineyard red 2019 Finca Dofí comes from the 14 hectares of vines planted across three parajes (lieu-dits) in Gratallops. It's classy, elegant, and fresh with very clean aromas and flavours, not lacking concentration or power. There is superb definition and purity here; it must be the finest and most elegant Dofí to date. It has finer tannins and more elegance than La Baixada this year. The 2018 was fragrant and this has more clout but superb balance. Spherical and velvety.
The single-vineyard 2017 Finca Dofí comes from ten hectares that were planted 20 years ago in the village of Gratallops. There is no trace of oak in the wines, and there are no edges; they all feel sleek and elegant. This Dofí expresses the Mediterranean vintage from this vineyard at 300 to 320 meters in altitude, where the slate has a lot of iron, which turns the soils red and makes round and velvety wines, with flavours of red cherries, cherry pit, nectarines and even blood orange. The warm soils are compensated by mostly northern exposures. The palate has volume and is juicy, sensual, and velvety, with some fine-grained tannins that currently call for food. It makes for a very gastronomical red.

It feels terribly lively, with a silkiness and purity, terse but at the same time ripe. The oak is very integrated and there is no volatility many associate with Priorat, but the flavours are clearly reminiscent of the old vintages of Dofí but with a much more polished texture. Again, the acidity gives it clout and depth, like claws clinging to you. It ends tasty and very mineral. This feels as good as the other-worldly 2013. A great vintage for Dofí. Elegance in a bottle.
The 2011 Finca Dofi represents a huge jump in quality for this wine. Dofi has mostly fruit from north-facing plots which give it a special freshness, pure red fruit and blood orange, peach, subtle herbs and aniseed with an impressive elegance and balance, round, and velvety tannins, very long and persistent in the finish. The 2011 has a rounder, softer and silkier texture. This is a superb Dofi, much more elegant and subtle than any vintage to date
