Pinot Noir from the classic appellation for this variety. A very elegant wine with charming aromas of red fruits, raspberries and cherries. Thanks to aging at least partly in new oak barrels, the wine also has an attractive aroma of noble spices. The wine has silky tannins, juicy acidity and a very long finish.

Founded in 1997 by Dan Kosta, Michael Browne and Chris Costello, the legendary Kosta Browne Winery produces some of the most sought-after Pinot Noir wines in California. The estate sources its grapes from the most celebrated terroirs of three prestigious appellations – the Sonoma Coast, Russian River Valley and Santa Lucia Highlands. In 2016, the company acquired the famed Cerise Vineyard on the steep and wild hills of Mendocino County. The Kosta Browne collection is a vast array of Pinot Noir, ranging from appellation wines that blend the best of these terroirs to single-vineyard masterpieces from family vineyards and the estate's own parcels.

Russian River Valley is a wine region located in Sonoma County, California. The region is known for producing high-quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. The Russian River Valley is named after the Russian River, which runs through the region. The region has a long history of winemaking, dating back to the 1800s when Russian settlers first planted grapevines in the area.

The Russian River Valley is known for its cool climate, which is ideal for growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. The region's proximity to the Pacific Ocean also contributes to its unique climate, which is characterized by cool, foggy mornings and warm, sunny afternoons. This climate allows the grapes to ripen slowly and develop complex flavors.

The winemakers in the Russian River Valley are known for their commitment to sustainable and organic farming practices. Many of the vineyards in the region are certified organic or biodynamic, which means that they use natural methods to control pests and diseases and promote soil health.

The Pinot Noir wines produced in the Russian River Valley are known for their rich, complex flavors and aromas of dark fruit, earth, and spice. These wines are often aged in French oak barrels, which adds a subtle vanilla and toast flavor to the wine. The Chardonnay wines produced in the region are known for their crisp acidity and flavors of green apple, pear, and citrus.

Overall, the Russian River Valley is a must-visit destination for wine lovers who appreciate high-quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. The region's unique climate and commitment to sustainable farming practices make it a truly special place for winemaking.
