A beautiful ruby colour with garnet red hues. The aroma is fruity - mainly of ripe cherries, plums and dried fruit. Also spicy hints which give the wine a warm and soft style. A soft round and velvety taste of fruit with very good concentration.

Zenato is an Italian winery located in the Valpolicella region of Veneto. Founded in 1960 by Sergio Zenato, the winery has grown to become one of the most respected producers of Amarone della Valpolicella. The Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG is a full-bodied red wine made from a blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes. The grapes are dried for several months before being fermented and aged in oak barrels for up to three years.

The result is a complex and intense wine with aromas of dark fruit, spices, and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is rich and velvety, with flavors of blackberry, cherry, and chocolate. The finish is long and lingering, with a hint of sweet spice. This Amarone is a perfect accompaniment to hearty dishes such as game, grilled meats, and aged cheeses.

The winemaking tradition in Veneto dates back to the Roman era, and the region has been producing wine for over 2,000 years. The unique climate and soil conditions in Veneto make it an ideal location for growing a variety of grapes, including Glera, Corvina, and Rondinella.

Prosecco is one of the most popular wines produced in Veneto. It is a sparkling wine made from the Glera grape and is known for its light, refreshing taste. Prosecco is typically produced using the Charmat method, which involves fermenting the wine in large tanks before bottling.

The history of Amarone della Valpolicella dates back to ancient times, when the Romans first began cultivating grapes in the region. Over the centuries, the production of this wine has evolved, with modern winemakers using advanced techniques to create a wine that is both traditional and innovative.

The style of production for Amarone della Valpolicella is known as appassimento, which involves drying the grapes on straw mats for several months before fermentation.
