Tasting Notes
On the nose, it shows delicate floral and fruity aromas. The palate is vibrant and persistent, with a fresh mineral finish that invites another sip. Sourced from limestone and silex soils, the grapes express distinctive minerality and freshness. Gently pressed and fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel, the wine is then aged on its lees to enhance complexity, finesse, and the elegant structure typical of great Pouilly-Fumé Sauvignon Blancs.

The colour is pale gold with green tints. The nose is delicate with ripe fruit such as pear and white peach. It also has complex notes of beeswax, vanilla and flint. The mouth has a fresh fruity beginning, is fleshy and robust, and has good structure. It is balanced between a fruity roundness and mineral firmness. A very long finish.

Château de Nozet is an amazing fairy-tale castle, the home of the de Ladoucette family. The reputation of its top wine, Baron de L, has been languishing for some time, and this wine, with its flint and mineral flavours and a touch of spice, is a fine wine but has been outpaced in the Pouilly stakes.
