WSET WINE COURSES
Onshore Cellars, a leading supplier of fine wine and spirits to the superyacht industry, has been delivering Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) wine courses to yachts and their crews since 2016. These internationally recognised courses provide high-quality education and training in wines, making them an ideal choice for interior teams who want to provide the best possible service on board your yacht or villa.
Onshore Cellars proudly teaches Levels 2 and 3 WSET wine courses, providing crew and staff members with a comprehensive understanding of wine and wine service.
Level 2 covers the key grape varieties and wine regions, the production process, and food and wine pairing.
Level 3, on the other hand, dives deeper into the wine world, covering topics such as advanced wine service, wine styles and quality, and the impact of climate on wine.
If you are looking for a more tailored approach to wine training, Onshore Cellars also offers private bespoke wine courses for yacht crew. This option allows you to design your own course based on your individual needs and interests. The team at Onshore Cellars will work with you to cover whichever aspect of the wine world you want, whether it's diving deeper into the owner's wine preferences or focusing on a particular region.
Investing in wine courses for your crew/staff can bring numerous benefits to your yachts service. With enhanced wine knowledge and service skills, your crew will be better equipped to provide a world-class dining experience to your guests. They will also be able to confidently make recommendations and provide insights into wine selection and pairing, elevating the overall guest experience.
