Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2012 Shiraz Old Vine has aromas of warm blackcurrants, black plums and crushed blackberries with nuances of tar, licorice, dark chocolate and fertile loam. Full-bodied and densely packed with muscular black fruit and earth flavors, it has a solid foundation of firm, grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long.
