Celler del Roure - Cullerot

Cullerot is a white wine produced by Celler del Roure, a winery located in the heart of Valencia, Spain. This wine is made from a blend of indigenous grape varieties, including Verdil, Pedro Ximenez, Macabeo, and Malvasia.

The taste profile of Cullerot is refreshing and crisp, with notes of citrus and tropical fruits. It has a bright acidity that makes it a perfect match for seafood dishes, salads, and light appetizers.

Celler del Roure has a long history of winemaking, dating back to the Roman times. The winery is known for its commitment to preserving the traditional winemaking techniques of the region, while also incorporating modern technology to produce high-quality wines.

Cullerot is a great wine to enjoy on a warm summer day, either on its own or paired with your favorite seafood dish. It is also a great wine to bring to a picnic or a barbecue with friends and family.

The summer of 2018 was wet and cool, which benefited whites, and they got a good crop and could sort and select the best grapes. The wine is fine and elegant, Mediterranean and spicy, with notes of fennel and aniseed. It also has a balsamic, bay leaf-like note. It's long and narrow, with good freshness and acidity, in line with the 2016. Very tasty.
Aged in Tinijas shows the fresh and complex flavours of this wine. The wine is fine and elegant with tangerines, sweet spice, balanced with fresh and mouth-watering citrus, melon and a touch of biscuit from the Chardonnay and Macabeo. Finishing with a rich and creamy mouth feel that makes this wine a true show case of its style. On the palate it is fresh and pleasant with an excellent aftertaste of forest notes.

Valencia is a wine region located in eastern Spain, known for producing a variety of wines, including red, white, and rosé. The region has a long history of winemaking, dating back to the Roman era. Valencia's warm and sunny climate, combined with its fertile soil, makes it an ideal location for growing grapes.

The most famous wine produced in Valencia is the red wine, which is made from the Bobal grape variety. This grape is known for its deep color and rich flavor, with notes of blackberry, cherry, and spice. Valencia also produces a range of white wines, including the crisp and refreshing Macabeo and the aromatic Moscatel.

In addition to wine, Valencia is also known for its production of spirits, particularly the anise-flavored liqueur known as Anis del Mono. This spirit has been produced in Valencia since the mid-19th century and is still popular today.

Overall, Valencia is a region with a rich history of winemaking and a diverse range of wines and spirits to offer. Whether you're a fan of red, white, or rosé, or prefer a refreshing liqueur, Valencia has something to offer.
