Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Langoa Barton is scented of cedar and Marmite toast with black fruit and fertile earth notes. The medium-bodied palate is oaky with a good fruit core, fine-grained tannins and nice freshness on the finish.
Plenty of juicy blackcurrant fruit and background oak are present in this plump, medium to full-bodied, ripe, well-made wine. Not nearly as tannic as I feared, this wine shows a forward plumpness, excellent purity, texture and length. Drink it over the next 15-20 years.
The medium to deep garnet coloured 2009 Langoa Barton is scented of warm red and black plums, dried mulberries, and blackcurrant cordial with touches of dried mint and new leather. Medium to full-bodied with a solid frame of grainy tannins and bold freshness, it has loads of red and black berry preserves layers on the long, savoury finish.

Chateau Langoa Barton is a renowned wine producer located in the Saint-Julien appellation of Bordeaux, France. The estate has a rich history dating back to the 18th century when it was founded by Hugh Barton, an Irishman who settled in Bordeaux. Today, the estate is owned by the Barton family, who have been involved in the wine trade for over two centuries.

The vineyards of Chateau Langoa Barton cover 17 hectares and are planted with a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully sorted before being fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 12 to 18 months, depending on the vintage.

The wines of Chateau Langoa Barton are known for their elegance, balance, and longevity. They are typically medium-bodied with aromas of blackcurrant, cedar, and tobacco. On the palate, the wines are smooth and velvety with fine tannins and a long, complex finish. The estate produces two wines: Chateau Langoa Barton and Le Petit Lion du Marquis de Las Cases, a second wine made from younger vines.

Chateau Langoa Barton has received numerous accolades over the years, including a 94-point rating from Wine Spectator for the 2016 vintage of Chateau Langoa Barton. The estate is also known for its commitment to sustainable viticulture, using natural methods to protect the vines and the environment.

Overall, Chateau Langoa Barton is a producer of exceptional Bordeaux wines that are highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts alike. With a rich history, a commitment to quality, and a focus on sustainability, it is no wonder that Chateau Langoa Barton ranks highly in Google searches for Bordeaux wines.

Bordeaux, in the southwest of France, needs little introduction as one of the world's most famous, prestigious and prolific wine regions. The majority of Bordeaux wines (nearly 90 percent of production volume) are the dry, medium- and full-bodied red Bordeaux Blends that established its reputation.

The finest (and most expensive) of these are the wines from the great châteaux of the Haut-Médoc and the Right Bank appellations Saint-Émilion and Pomerol. The former is focused (at the top level) on Cabernet Sauvignon, the latter pair on on Merlot.

The legendary reds are complemented by high-quality white wines based on Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. These range from dry whites to challenge the best from the Burgundy region (Pessac-Léognan is particularly renowned) to the sweet, botrytized nectars of Sauternes.
