It's Malagouzia, meaning lots of flavour and aromatics that make it impossible to resist. This grape, done right, is one of Greece's secret weapons. There isn't a lot of power, and it could use a bit more energy, but it tastes great. Light green-yellow colour, intensively aromatic with clear scents of apricot, peach, pear, and a natural hint of lemon peel. Well balanced with a fresh acidity.

A Family Winery. The Giannikos Winery is a family-owned organic winery based in Corinth on the Peloponnese in Greece. They own 8 ha of vines on two sites, one in Corinth around the winery and the other in Mycenae, near the famous archaeological site and birthplace of Greek viticulture almost 4,000 years ago.
