The grapes used to make their wines are exclusively sourced from the Monprivato vineyard, a single cru located in the commune of Castiglione Falletto. The flagship wine of Mascarello is the Barolo Monprivato. Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, this wine is a true expression of the terroir and the expertise of the winemakers. This edition of Monprivato is fine and sensual with soft berry tones that cede to blue flowers, candied orange peel, fresh mint and earthy rust. The wine's tannins and structure build momentum and staying power. This wine is large in scope and impressive.
