Created to celebrate the life of famous American tattoo artist Norman Keith Collins (nicknamed Sailor Jerry), Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum is a rum flavored with spices mainly cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg. Distilled in the United States Virgin Islands, this bottling is the brand's second version. A little less sweet than the previous version, the notes of vanilla and spices stand out more.

Sailor's Serenade
Sailor's Serenade is a shaken cocktail made with Sailor Jerry, served in a coupe.

- Lime wheel and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon
Ingredients
- 50 ml Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
- 25 ml Fresh lime juice
- 15 ml Maple syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 egg white
Method
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker.
- Dry shake (without ice) for 30 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
- Add ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
- Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Serve
Coupe glass, garnished with a lime wheel and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon on top.
