Vinedos De Paganos

Winery founded in 1998 by the Eguren Family (Sierra Cantabria, Señorío de San Vicente, Viñedos de Páganos, Teso la Monja, Dominio de Eguren) in the Álava town of Páganos. The winery is sculpted under the cold rock, in the very bowels of the vineyard, with the aim of producing great wines that represent their own characteristics and personality that determines the union of climate, soil and vineyard varieties.

The winery shares space with the exceptional El Puntido vineyard, an old word meaning a landing, similar to the terrace that it forms between the Sierra de Cantabria and the Ebro river depression. The area is under the influence of an Atlantic climate with nuances from Continental, sheltered from the cold north winds thanks to the Sierra de Cantabria.
