Domaine Armand Heitz

Domaine Armand Heitz is a Burgundian wine domaine producing white wines from two of the Côte d'Or's most celebrated appellations: Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru and Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru. The domaine works exclusively with Chardonnay, the definitive white grape of the Côte de Beaune.

Corton-Charlemagne is one of Burgundy's most commanding Grand Cru appellations, situated on the upper slopes of the Corton hill spanning the communes of Aloxe-Corton, Pernand-Vergelesses, and Ladoix-Serrigny. Its limestone and marl soils at elevation produce Chardonnay of considerable structure and aging potential, typically marked by minerality, tight acidity, and flavours that lean toward white fruit, spice, and a stony character that develops complexity with time. Chassagne-Montrachet, by contrast, offers a broader range of terroirs through its Premier Cru lieux-dits, with the Morgeot climat — one of the largest and best-known in the appellation — producing whites of richness and textural depth.

The domaine's range spans from the village-level prestige of a Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru Morgeot to the rare elevation of a Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, representing two distinct expressions of Côte de Beaune Chardonnay across different soils, elevations, and ageing trajectories.
