Tasting notes
The wine has layers of flavors, the first are fruit, then come the herbal and, after them, the spices. An important change in style towards a more subtle side. This Casa Real is 100% cabernet sauvignon that comes from the Carnero Viejo vineyard, planted 50 years ago on the sandy soils of Alto Jahuel, in the Maipo Valley.

About this wine
Santa Rita - Casa Real - Cabernet Sauvignon
Indulge in the rich and complex flavours of Santa Rita's Casa Real Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is a true masterpiece, crafted from the finest grapes grown in the Maipo Valley of Chile. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, which gives it a smooth and velvety texture.
The Casa Real Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep ruby colour and a complex aroma of blackcurrant, blackberry, and vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied with a rich and intense flavour of dark fruit, chocolate, and tobacco. The tannins are firm and well-structured, providing a long and satisfying finish.
Santa Rita is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in Chile, with a history dating back to 1880. The Casa Real Cabernet Sauvignon is named after the historic estate where the winery was founded, and it is a tribute to the winery's rich heritage and commitment to quality.
This wine is perfect for special occasions and pairs well with red meat, game, and strong cheeses. Enjoy it with friends and family, and savour the taste of a true Chilean masterpiece.
