Ladyburn 42 Years Old is an extremely rare single malt from the closed Lowland distillery Ladyburn, which was in operation for only nine years. The whisky was distilled in March 1973 and aged for 42 years before being bottled in July 2015.
Ladyburn 42 Years Old has a unique, beautifully balanced flavour profile. On the nose, expect deep aromas of linseed oil, subtle vanilla oak, fresh fruits, polished wood and leather. The palate is rich and mouthcoating with notes of stewed fruits, dried orange, prune and antique leather. The finish is long and slightly dry with lingering hints of chocolate, spices and oak.
