Radiant and beautifully balanced, this whisky evokes the final golden hours of an autumn day. Matured initially in American oak casks for 15 years before a portion spends an additional three years in Oloroso sherry casks, the marriage of the two components creates a whisky of depth and elegance. On the nose, soft floral aromas of heather mingle with honeyed citrus and gentle spice. The palate is silky and layered, revealing rich notes of marmalade, fig and caramelised orange, complemented by subtle hints of honey and warm oak. A delicate wisp of distant campfire smoke adds complexity, leading to a long, warming finish with lingering sweetness and refined sherry influence.

Ingredients:

- 60 ml Glenmorangie - 18 yrs
- 20 ml honey syrup
- 15 ml fresh lemon juice
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Lemon twist for garnish

- Fill a shaker with ice.
- Add Glenmorangie - 18 yrs, honey syrup, fresh lemon juice, and Angostura bitters.
- Shake well for 10–15 seconds.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.

The history of Glenmorangie dates back to 1843 when William Matheson established the distillery on the banks of the Dornoch Firth.
