Tobala mezcal pays homage to the sacred traditions of the village of Sola de Vega, in the Oaxaca region. The highest quality Tobala agave is roasted and distilled in a clay still. Considered the 'king of agaves' among wild agaves, Tobala is renowned for its complexity and balance. This expression presents notes of tropical fruit, herbs, piloncillo (panela) and damp earth.
