Light brown with an amber hue, the bouquet of vanilla with spicy, citrusy and dried fruit notes of almond, raisins and cloves differentiates Antica Formula from other Vermouths. A well-rounded palate full of rich vanilla taste that picks up the aromas from the nose. Combines well with the bitter orange, dates, cocoa beans and saffron flavours.

Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth is a classic Italian vermouth that has been produced since 1786. Made from a blend of white wines, herbs, spices, and other botanicals, including cinchona bark, this vermouth has a distinctive bitter flavor. Aged in oak barrels for up to three years, Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth has a deep, complex flavor. It is full-bodied and sweet, with a rich, herbal aroma and a long, smooth finish.

Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth is perfect for use in classic cocktails such as the Manhattan and the Negroni, as well as for sipping on its own. This timeless classic has been enjoyed for centuries and is sure to be enjoyed for many more.

Carpano's Classic Manhattan

Ingredients:
- 60 ml Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth
- 60 ml bourbon whiskey
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Maraschino cherry for garnish

Instructions:
1. Fill a mixing glass with ice.
2. Add Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth, bourbon whiskey, and Angostura bitters.
3. Stir well for about 30 seconds.
4. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
5. Garnish with a Maraschino cherry.

I vinverdenen er Piemonte bedst kendt for de to giganter Barolo og Barbaresco sammen med andre populære rødvine lavet på Barbera og Dolcetto, den hvide Gavi og den mousserende Asti.

Den har flere DOCG'er (17) og DOC'er (42) end nogen anden region (se kort: Asti-området, Langhe, Monferrato og det nordlige), men ingen IGP'er. I 2016 producerede Piemonte 2,5 millioner hl (28,3 millioner kasser) vin, hvoraf størstedelen (55 %) var rødvin og 83 % på DOP-niveau. Regionens primære druesorter er Barbera (31 %), Moscato (22 %), Dolcetto (13 %) og Nebbiolo (10 %).
