The nose is aromatic and offers a small complexity as well as a fine intensity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh cherries, juicy blueberry, small notes of fleshy redcurrant associated with small touches of strawberry, fresh flowers as well as fine hints of toasted, caramelisation, a very discreet hint of racy minerality and cardamom. Tannins are precise and fine. Good length and an aromatic persistence.

Chardonnay er den primære drue til hvidvin i Bourgogne og udgør 48 % af vinstokkene og 68 % af produktionen. Chardonnay sætter pris på Bourgognes mergeljord, som giver den delikate blomster-, frugt- og mineralaromaer og en fyldig smag. Aligoté er den anden hvide drue og tegner sig for 6 % af produktionen. {Læs mere om den gamle Aligoté-drue i Bourgogne.}

Marsannay is a wine appellation located in the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, France. It is the northernmost appellation in the Côte d'Or and is known for producing red, white, and rosé wines. The history of winemaking in Marsannay dates back to the Roman era, and the appellation was officially recognized in 1987.

The style of production in Marsannay is heavily influenced by the region's cool climate and limestone-rich soils. The red wines are made from Pinot Noir grapes and are known for their light to medium body, bright acidity, and delicate fruit flavors. The white wines are made from Chardonnay grapes and are characterized by their crisp acidity, minerality, and citrus and apple flavors. The rosé wines are made from a blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay grapes and are known for their refreshing acidity and fruity flavors.

One of the most notable producers in Marsannay is Domaine Bruno Clair. This family-owned winery has been producing high-quality wines in the region since the 1970s. Their red wines are known for their elegance and finesse, with flavors of red fruit, spice, and earth. Their white wines are crisp and refreshing, with notes of citrus and minerality. Another top producer in Marsannay is Domaine Sylvain Pataille. This biodynamic winery is known for its innovative winemaking techniques and commitment to sustainability. Their red wines are complex and full-bodied, with flavors of dark fruit, spice, and earth. Their white wines are rich and creamy, with notes of honey and stone fruit.
