The Geantet Pansiot Gevrey Chambertin 2021 boasts captivating notes of ripe cherry and blackberry, with subtle undertones of earthy spices and a delicate minerality.
The Gevrey-Chambertin En Champs was showing a slight reduction on the nose that imparted an unwanted metallic tincture. The palate is better with sappy red berry fruit, red plum and truffle notes, the tannins quite firm in the mouth with a pleasurable, black pepper finish that lingers nicely in the mouth.
