The nose first presents a smoky note and very ripe fruits such as apricot, dry pineapple, quince and hazelnut.
The ventilation softens the smoky touch to make room for the fruit paste. We therefore find the previous fruits also in this version. Dried fruit, honey, vanilla, blond tobacco, roasting, date and dried fig are there. There are a lot of things, it's very rich.
On the palate, the attack is on the sugar but immediately the acidity arrives to create a lively balance with the fat of the wine. It’s surprising such a balance. You don't feel any heaviness or saturation in your taste buds. It's soooo long, as you would expect.
