The latest release of Perrier-Joët's NV Brut Blanc de Blancs is charming and expressive, bursting from the glass with aromas of crisp yellow orchard fruit, pear, white flowers and subtle hints of buttered toast. Perrier-Jouët owns 65 hectares of vineyards classified as 99.2% on the échelle des crus classification of vineyards, including forty hectares of Chardonnay for the Cramant and Avize grands crus. Chardonnay, a floral, elegant and refined grape variety, is Perrier-Jouët’s signature wine.

Perrier-Jouët only produces wine in small volumes. Successive cellar masters have managed to preserve its historic treasures, including its first vintages, like Perrier-Jouët 1825 – the oldest champagne currently in existence.

A blend of grape varieties is usually required: white Chardonnay to add fruit and elegance, and two reds – Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier – to provide body and backbone.
