The name of the wine comes from the origins of the Viot Family, who came from Italy under François I, to settle in Tours and work with silk for the Châteaux of the Loire. Silk produced in Asia or in the Cevennes was dyed and woven in Touraine. Silk is a texture, a sensation, an elegance. The label represents the Coat of Arms of the Family.
A blend of Vermentino, Marsanne, Roussanne, Grenache Blanc and Viognier. A gastronomic, full-bodied wine with a lovely mouthfeel and notes of exotic fruit and spices.
Le Chemin des Rêves is located 10km north-west of Montpellier and is named after a small path bordering the vineyards which was nicknamed the path of dreams by a local who used to walk there everyday. The winery has 20 hectares of vineyards spread over two terroirs in the Languedoc - Pic Saint Loup and Grés de Montpellier and was certified organic in November 2017. Le Chemin des Rêves is run by Benoit Viot, who turned his hand to winemaking in 2004 after a successful career as a pharmacist.
