Château de Fieuzal - Blanc

Tasting notes

92 Points - The Wine advocate

"The 2015 de Fieuzal Blanc has plenty of tropical fruit on the nose - pineapple, pink grapefruit and lime aromas that are designed to seduce. The palate has a little fatness on the entry, a little lower in acidity than its peers, with rounded peach and pineapple notes flourishing on the finish. A classy crowd-pleaser, in other words." - Neal Martin

    Château De Fieuzal

    Onshore Cellars - ICONIC Producer

Renowned for its white wines, which are considered to be some of the best in Bordeaux, Château de Fieuzal is located on one of the best sites in the Graves appellation. The quality of the red wines was recognised in 1959 when they were awarded the official status of Graves Grands Cru Classé. The property was named after the family that owned it up until 1851 with each of the 6 families who have owned it over the last 400 years leaving their mark. The Château is now owned by Irish wine lovers, Brenda and Lochlann Quinn, with Stephen Carrier and well known Bordeaux consultant Hubert de Bouard making the wines. The 70ha of vines are on average 30 years old, with 10 hectares dedicated solely to the production of white wines.
