Château Cissac - Haut-Medoc

Tasting notes
Classic wines that combine the strength of the Médoc with the aromatic elegance of the greatest Bordeaux appellations. From a stellar vintage, this a wonderful drinking Bordeaux, maturing nicely it is complex and expressive. WIth hints of cigar box and leather are combined with velvety smooth flavours of cassis and dark cherry.

The grapes are grown on vines with an average age of 33 years, in a land particularly suited to the cultivation of Cabernet Sauvignon. With an arable soil of sandy gravel and a clay-limestone subsoil.

The grape varieties are blended in the tradition of the Médoc: the power of Cabernet Sauvignon mingles with the finesse of Merlot and spices from Petit Verdot. Before being aged for 14 to 16 months in French oak barrels.
