Carpineto - Winery Producing Incredible Chianti Wines.

The story of Carpineto winery began in 1967 by the joint efforts of Giovanni Carlo Sacchet and Antonio Mario Zaccheo. The duo set a goal to make their Chianti Classico DOCG wines well-famous around the globe, and they did it. Over the years, they got numerous awards and recognitions by the wine critics for their flagship red wines. With the help of their families, Carlo and Mario kept the traditional winemaking methods alive, combined with innovative and state-of-the-art processes. Today, 95% of the wine production is red wines, along with the rest of the wines include luscious white, rose, dessert, and sparkling wines, all made under the Toscana IGT and Chianti DOCG statuses.

Tuscany's climate ranges from Mediterranean on the coast to continental deep in the Apennines. More than two thirds of the province is covered with hills, an important terroir factor in its fine wines.
