The non-vintage Brut, is a blend of 80% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Noir, and 10% Pinot Bianco. It exhibits a refined bouquet of yeasty bread, dried apricots, pear, and citrus. This wine, which spent three years on its lees, is rich, fresh, medium-bodied, and long in the mouth, with tiny pinpoint bubbles and a lot of frothiness.

This is a brilliant wine from winemaker Mattia Bezzola. The reference point for brilliantly pure, elegant, Italian sparkling wine, this offering can stand up to the finest Champagnes. This prestigious estate, created in the seventies by proprietor Vittorio Moretti, continues to fashion a bevy of dazzling sparklers.

Onshore Cellars - ICONIC Producer

Bellavista is recognised for making some of the best sparkling wines in Italy and this success partly comes from the direction of their Head Winemaker, Mattia Vezzolla. He was honoured as “Oenologist of the year” by the Italian guide “Gambero Rosso-Slow Food” in 2007 for his key contribution in developing the Franciacorta DOCG.

The winery was established in 1977 in Franciacorta (which literally means ‘short France’) by Vittorio Moretti, who also owns Contadi Castaldi in the same region, and Petra and Tenuta La Badiola in Maremma. Today, Bellavista owns 195 hectares of land covering almost 10% of Franciacorta producing around 1,150,000 bottles a year.
