Beleca is a dry white wine. It is a blend of two autochthonous Croatian varieties: 50% Pošip and 50% Bogdanuša.
Bogdanuša is a grape variety native to Hvar Island. It produces light, delicate wines characterized by freshness and a floral aroma. It is planted on red soil which intensifies the freshness, which is why it pairs excellently with richer, full bodied wine produced by Pošip.
