"The 2015 Strandwolf Chardonnay comes from a granite sector of a block in the Polkadraai Hills, so that represents around 60% of the vineyard from where Bruwer Raats sources his Strandwolf. It has a precise and focused bouquet with hints of almond and nutmeg, reserved and linear, yet quite compelling. The palate is fresh and saline on the entry, a marine vein that infuses the citrus fruit, very well balanced and quite intense with a long, stem ginger finish." - Neal Martin
B Vintners is a collaboration between cousins Gavin Bruwer and Bruwer Raats. With a glance to the past, their aim has been to explore the heritage of the South African wine industry, and as such they have a huge focus on sourcing their grapes from the most interesting vineyard sites in the Cape. Their wine making approach is innovative but simple, allowing the wines to express their sense of place.
B Vintners was awarded 3 Five Star wines in The Platter Guide 2018.
