Rombauer Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Selection is deep and dark, elegantly balanced, with a purple hue. Aromas of black cherry and red currant combine seamlessly with sweet notes of spice and baked pie crust. The full and lush palate is highlighted by dark cherry and spice that gives way to hints of tobacco and vanilla. Finely structured ripe tannins are balanced by a lift of acidity, that gives this wine an impressive finish that lingers.

Rombauer Vineyards produced their first Chardonnay with the 1982 vintage, but it wasn’t until 1990 that the Rombauer family made their first Chardonnay from the Carneros region, where the San Pablo Bay meets the southern end of Napa and Sonoma valleys. The cool climate and soils of this region provide ideal conditions for this quinessential Carneros Chardonnay with the Rombauer hallmarks of intense fruit flavors balanced by fresh acidity.
