Chateau Beauregard Ducasse

Located in the heart of the prestigious Pessac-Léognan appellation, Chateau Beauregard Ducasse is a family-owned winery that has been producing exceptional wines for over three generations. This renowned producer is known for its high-quality, terroir-driven wines that truly reflect the unique characteristics of the Graves region.

The winery traces its roots back to the 18th century, when the Ducasse family first acquired the property. However, it wasn't until the 1950s that the family began to focus solely on winemaking, and the estate was officially renamed Chateau Beauregard Ducasse. Today, the estate is managed by Jean-Michel and Dominique Ducasse, who continue to uphold the family's tradition of producing outstanding wines.

The vineyards of Chateau Beauregard Ducasse cover 35 hectares of gravelly soils, typical of the Graves region. The vines are planted with a variety of grapes, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, which are carefully tended to by hand to ensure the highest quality grapes. The winery is also committed to sustainable practices, using organic fertilizers and minimal intervention in the vineyard.

One of the standout wines from Chateau Beauregard Ducasse is their flagship red blend, simply named "Chateau Beauregard Ducasse." This wine is a blend of predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a touch of Cabernet Franc, aged in French oak barrels for 12-18 months. The result is a complex and elegant wine, with aromas of dark fruits, spices, and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, with smooth tannins and a long finish.
